2023年12月15日上午,应国家天元数学东南中心与厦门大学数学科学学院邀请,法国波尔多大学Raphaël Loubère研究员在厦门大学海韵园实验楼106报告厅为我院师生做题为《Multi-dimensionally aware entropy stable and positivity preserving Godunov-type schemes for hydrodynamics on unstructured grid》的Colloquium讲座。讲座由厦门大学数学科学学院熊涛教授主持,信息与计算数学系系主任陈黄鑫教授为专家颁发了Colloquium纪念牌。
本次报告中,Raphaël Loubère研究员介绍了基于拉格朗日坐标下的简易黎曼求解器来发展高维无结构网格下的新型欧拉型多点式有限体积格式。新的格式继承了拉格朗日格式的良好性质,同时还能保持全局守恒性。Loubère研究员通过面向工程应用的典型问题展示了新格式的良好表现。报告结束后,他耐心地解答了听众们提出的问题。
专家简介:Raphaël Loubère, Director of Research at CNRS, Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux (IMB), University of Bordeaux, France. He got his PhD in applied mathematics in 2002 from the University of Bordeaux, and then held a postdoc position for 3 years at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, U.S.A. In 2006 he won a CR CNRS position at the Mathematical Institute in Toulouse (IMT UMR 5219), and in 2016 he became a DR CNRS at IMB. His research mainly focuses on developing numerical methods that are used as simulation code engines. Those codes are dedicated to simulate complex physical phenomena, such as compressible fluids, multi-phase and multi-material flows, elasto-plastic material, magneto-hydrodynamics, inertial confinement fusion, etc. These fields of research were in close relationship with industrial partners who are the end-users of such innovative numerical methods run on massively parallel machines. He has published more than 70 articles in top-ranked international journals, including JCP, SINUM, SISC, etc.
