This will be a review of the 3 types of Macdonald polynomials, (electronic, bosonic and fermionic) and their relationships via symmetrization and the Boson-Fermion correspondence. The picture is a generalization of the classical relationship between monomials, Schur functions and Vandermonde determinants. This talk is based on joint work with Laura Colmenarejo arXiv:2212.03312.

Arun Ram, 澳大利亚墨尔本大学教授，曾在美国普林斯顿大学担任助理教授，在威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校担任副教授、教授。主要研究领域是代数和组合，研究课题包括表示论，李群和量子群，Hecke代数，中心化子代数和对称函数等，主要结果发表在《Adv. Math.》，《Ann. Probab.》，《Invent. Math.》，《J. Eur. Math. Soc.》，《Proc. London Math. Soc.》，《Tran. Amer. Math. Soc.》等期刊上。
