Comparison theorems in centro-affine differential geometry

Milman (J. Eur. Math. Soc., 2025) studied problems in convex geometry via centro-affine differential geometry. In this approach, several affine connections different from the Levi-Civita connection were introduced. In the context of comparison theorems for weighted manifolds, Wylie-Yeroshkin considered an affine connection whose Ricci curvature coincides with the 1-weighted Ricci curvature. In this talk, we observe that one of the affine connections introduced by Milman coincides with a Wylie-Yeroshkin type connection, and discuss rigidity phenomena in related comparison theorems. Yasuaki Fujitani is now a JSPS PD Research Fellow at University of Tokyo. He obtained his PhD in 2025 at Osaka University. His research interests lie in geometric analysis and information geometry, including weighted Riemannian manifolds, weighted Ricci curvature, affine connections, Steklov eigenvalues, and information geometry on warped product spaces.
