A finite generalized quadrangle S is a Singer quadrangle if it has an automorphism group that acts sharply transitively on its points. In this talk, we introduce the notion of multipliers for a Singer quadrangle and study their basic properties. As an application, we show that a point-primitive automorphism group of a thick generalized quadrangle can not have O’Nan-Scott type HS (holomorph simple), which answers an open problem in [1].

狄文帝,华东理工大学讲师。她于2023年获浙江大学博士学位,随后在南方科技大学从事博士后研究。其主要研究方向为有限几何与代数组合,相关成果已发表于《Journal of Combinatorial Designs》《Journal of Algebra and Its Applications》《Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics》等期刊。
