Geometric Bombieri-Lang conjecture for ramified covers of abelian varieties

The Geometric Bombieri--Lang Conjecture is a function filed analogue of the Bombieri--Lang conjecture, which is a higher-dimensional generalization of the famous Mordell conjecture. Recently, Junyi Xie and Xinyi Yuan proved this conjecture in the case of ramified covers of abelian varieties with some extra assumptions in characteristic zero. In this talk, I will introduce their ideas and some new ideas to remove their extra assumptions.

个人简介：

高国荃是北京大学数学科学学院的在读博士，导师是谢俊逸教授和袁新意教授。高国荃的研究领域是丢番图几何、代数几何与复几何，在几何 Bombieri-Lang 猜想上已经取得一些优秀的成果。
