内容摘要:

Nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation is a fundamental equation in the theory of integrable system and in many physical areas. Inverse scattering transform is a powerful method of solving the Cauchy problem of nonlinear integrable equation. In this talk, we mainly study the Cauchy problem of NLS equation with a proper initial date by using inverse scattering transform. We will discuss how to obtain scattering data, and how to construct the solutions to this Cauchy problem. This is joint work with Dr. H. Q. Sun.

个人简介：

朱佐农，上海交通大学数学科学学院长聘教授、博士生导师，福耀科技大学教授、博士生导师。学术研究领域是应用数学和数学物理，研究方向是可积系统理论。在可积系统理论若干问题的研究上取得重要进展。在国际学术期刊，如JDE、J. Nonlinear Sci.、Physica D、 Stud. Appl. Math.、 PRSA、PRE、JMP等发表了90多篇高水平研究论文。先后主持国家自然科学基金项目、上海市“浦江人才计划”项目、教育部留学回国人员基金项目。参加香港RGC项目、西班牙教育和创新部、西班牙经济和竞争部科研项目。先后学术访问美国、西班牙、加拿大、日本、巴西等国高校。曾任国际学术期刊JACM编委。现任国际学术期刊《Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics》编委。
