In this talk, We will review the minimal principle of certain canonical intersection numbers appeared in various kind of semi-stable reductions and then we will indicate a connection between this principle and the Hassett-Keel program.

个人简介：

王晓玮，美国罗格斯大学教授，于2002年在美国布兰迪斯大学获得博士学位，师从著名数学家丘成桐。他的研究方向包括代数几何，微分几何，与辛几何，并在几何不变量与模空间理论上取得一系列突出成果。研究工作发表在 J. Amer. Math. Soc.、Duke Math. J.、Ann. Sci. Ecole. Norm. Sup.、J. Diff. Geom.、 Compositio Math.等顶级期刊。
