内容摘要:

This talk introduces our recent work on bound states in the continuum (BICs) and their applications in photonics. BICs are special light modes that stay perfectly confined without radiating energy. They enable low-threshold lasers, highly sensitive sensors, and enhanced harmonic generation. I will explain their basic properties, physical significance, and how they can greatly improve lightmatter interactions.

袁利军,重庆工商大学数学与统计学院教授,主要研究光波和电磁波的数学建模、理论分析、数值计算和优化设计,已在SIAM Journal on Applied MathematicsJournal of Computational PhysicsOptics ExpressPhysical Review A等期刊发表SCI论文30多篇。
