The theory of complements was introduced by Shokurov when he proved the existence of flips for threefolds. This talk will present an introductory survey on the theory of complements, focusing on recent progress concerning the boundedness of complements and some applications.

个人简介：

陈国度，上海交通大学数学科学学院长聘教轨副教授。2016年本科毕业于南开大学，2021年博士毕业于北京大学。陈国度的研究领域是双有理几何，特别是极小模型纲领及其应用，相关论文发表在Proceedings of London Mathematical Society, Advances in Mathematics, Peking Mathematical Journal等期刊上。
