Multiscale homogenization is a mathematical method used to analyze partial differential equations (PDEs) in heterogeneous media with coefficients that vary on multiple oscillating scales. The classical homogenization theory, which addresses PDEs with a single oscillating scale, has been well-established so far. The multiscale homogenization is more complicated due to the interactions between different oscillating scales, particularly when these scales are not separated. In this talk, I will provide an overview of general homogenization theory and discuss recent progress on multiscale elliptic homogenization.

人简介

诸葛金平,中国科学院晨兴数学中心副研究员。2019年博士毕业于University of Kentucky20199月至20226月在芝加哥大学数学系任Dickson Instructor. 主要研究领域为偏微分方程的均匀化理论。其研究成果先后发表在J. Eur. Math. Soc., Anal. PDE, Adv. Math., J. Math. Pures Appl.J. Funct. Anal.等国际著名数学期刊上。
