The double centralizer property is one of the most fundamental principles in Lie theory and representation theory. It underpins classical results such as SchurWeyl duality, which connects the representations of general linear Lie algebras (or quantum groups) and symmetric groups (or Iwahori-Hecke algebras) via mutual centralization on tensor spaces. In this talk, I will first introduce a ring theoretic approach (by Koenig-Slung{\aa}rd-Xi) to the proof of the double centralizer property in many examples. Then I will talk about their generalization and application.

胡峻,教授,博导,国家级领军人才,代数李理论与分析教育部重点实验室主任及工信部信息安全的数学理论与计算重点实验室主任,北京理工大学理材学部主任。主要从事李代数、代数群、量子群、Hecke代数及KLR代数等理论的研究在典型群与Brauer代数之间的Schur-Weyl对偶、分圆KLR代数的Z-分次表示以及G(r,p,n)型分圆Hecke代数的模表示等方面取得了一系列成果,2021年获得教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果自然科学奖一等奖(唯一完成人),主持国家自然科学基金面上及重点项目。
