A famous theorem of Artin asserts that the category of discrete G-sets of a topological group G is equivalent to the category of sheaves of sets on a certain orbit category of G equipped with the atomic topology. In this talk I will briefly describe the exact structure of sheaves of sets on $\mathcal{C}$, and give quite a few examples to illustrate the application of this theorem.

李利平，湖南师大数学与统计学院教授、院长。主要研究表示论与表示稳定性理论，在无限组合范畴的表示理论、一般线性群的同余群的同调群的线性稳定界限等问题上取得具有国际影响力的成果。
