摘要:

In this survey talk I will try to tell the story of the so-called Gelfand-Zeitlin modules over the Lie algebra gl(n) which, even now, form the largest known family of simple  gl(n)-modules. Gelfand-Zeitlin modules were defined by Drozd, Futorny Ovsienko about 30 years ago. I will pay a special attention to recent results by Early, myself Vishnyakova which led to a connection of the theory of Gelfand-Zetlin modules with that of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras. Eventually, this resulted in the (very recent) classification of simple Gelfand-Zeitlin modules by Kamnitzer, Tingley, Webster, Weekes Yacobi.

 Volodymyr Mazorchuk ，现为乌普萨拉大学数学系教授，曾任乌普萨拉大学数学系系主任。Volodymyr Mazorchuk 教授的研究主要集中在李代数的表示理论，目前已经有百馀篇高水准文章。 Volodymyr Mazorchuk 教授在包括 <<Advances in Mathematics>>、<<Transactions of the American Mathematical Society>>、<<Communications in Mathematical Physics>>、<<Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society>> 在内的国际重要学术期刊和会议上发表系列论文。曾获奖项Göran Gustafsson Prize。现任期刊 <<Journal of Algebra>> 的编委。
