For a family of non-isotrivial semistable varieties of general type, we have the well-known Arakelov inequality of Viehweg-Zuo type for the slope of the pushforward of the relative pluricanonical sheaf. In this talk, I shall talk about the strictness of the Arakelov inequality for fibered surfaces. We also generalize it to the non-semistable case.

个人简介：

徐万元，上海师范大学 副教授；2014年博士毕业于华东师范大学，2014年-2017年间分别在以色列巴伊兰大学、复旦大学从事博士后研究，从2017年开始在上海师范大学任教。徐万元的研究领域是代数几何，研究内容包括代数簇的纤维化、曲线模空间、一般型曲面的基本群，论文发表在 J. Math. Pures Appl., Math. Z., J. Number Theory 等杂志。
