Abstract:
In this talk we give new pinching phenomena of closed minimal Legendrian submanifolds in the unit sphere. Utilizing the maximum principle, we obtain a new characterization of the Calabi torus in the unit sphere which is the minimal Calabi product Legendrian immersion of a point and the totally geodesic Legendrian sphere. This is based on joint work with Prof. Linlin Sun and Dr. Jiabin Yin.

罗勇，重庆理工大学数学科学研究中心特聘教授，近年主要致力于体积泛函和Willmore泛函的几何变分问题以及调和映射和双调和映射理论的研究, 特别地，近年来在拉格朗日子流形和勒让德子流形的黎曼几何方面的研究中，得到了一系列有意思的结果。罗勇教授在 CVPDE、JGA、CAG、JDE等杂志上发表学术论文20余篇。
