In this talk, we will first review previous findings on two important singular limit problems in fluid mechanics: the low Mach number limit and the inviscid limit of the compressible Navier-Stokes system in a domain with boundaries. Next, we will present a new result that involves imposing no-slip boundary conditions, where the boundary layer effects are much stronger and require different techniques than those used in earlier studies. These will be based on the joint works with Professors N. Masmoudi, F. Rousset, C. Wang, Z. Zhang.
个人简介:
Changzhen Sun is a Junior CNRS researcher affiliated at the University of Franche-Comté, France. He received his Ph.D. in 2021 from the University of Paris-Saclay and subsequently spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher in Toulouse before joining CNRS. His research interests include singular limit problems and the stability of traveling waves for certain fluid systems.
