For rank 1 non-positvely curved geodesic flow, a potential function is said to have pressure gap if its pressure on the singular set is strictly smaller than that on the entire phase space. A result by Burns, Climenhaga, Fisher, and Thompson established a compelling link between the pressure gap property and the uniqueness of equilibrium states. In this talk, I will discuss related results on obtaining pressure gap for certain Holder potentials that are constant on singular sets. This work is joint with N. Kao and K. Park.

陈栋,美国印第安纳大学Indianapolis助理教授。2017年博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学,曾先后任教于美国俄亥俄州立大学及宾夕法尼亚州立大学。他主要从事几何与动力系统交叉领域的研究工作,在Adv. Math., Commun. Contemp. Math., Journal of Modern Dynamics, Journal de l'École Polytechnique-Mathématiques, Nonlinearity等学术期刊上发表多篇论文。
