内容摘要:

Quantitative analysis in sports analytics has received a great deal of attention in recent years. In this talk, I will discuss two recent projects. The first project is about quantifying the casual effect of home field advantage in English Premier League Football games. The second project is a recent effort to build a benchmark dataset for sports understanding using large language models. For both projects, I will discuss methodology, computation, and future working directions.
