We will first discuss some basic facts of Lagrangian geometry. Then we talk about a few elliptic and parabolic problems arising from variation of Lagrangian submanifolds.
个人简介：
陈竞一，加拿大英属哥伦比亚大学教授、博士生导师。本科毕业于北京大学数学系，在斯坦福大学获得博士学位。主要从事微分几何、微分方程领域的研究，在Invent. Math., Duke Math. J., GAFA, CPAM, Crelle’s J.等国际著名期刊上发表论文四十多篇。曾经荣获加拿大数学会Coxeter-James奖、Andre Aisenstadt奖以及美国Sloan Fellowship等。曾经在美国加州大学尔湾分校、美国西北大学以及美国麻省理工学院工作。
