Generic Triviality of Automorphisms on Algebraic Varieties

内容摘要:

The automorphism group of an algebraic variety plays a role in the area of algebraic geometry. In many cases, the automorphism group of a generic object of a family of algebraic varieties is the smallest, e.g., smooth curves, hypersurfaces. Using Hodge theory, we characterize when the generic automorphism group in a family is as simple as possible. As an application, we show that, in most cases, a very general complete intersection in a projective space has no non-trivial automorphisms. This is a joint work with Dingxin Zhang. 

个人简介：

吕人杰，2020年毕业于阿姆斯特丹大学，现为中国科学院晨兴数学中心博士后。研究领域为代数几何，在Hodge理论与代数闭链等问题上取得了一定的研究成果，已有一篇论文发表在Mathematical Research Letters上。
