We present a new algorithm for constructing minimal telescopers for rational functions in three discrete variables. This is the first discrete reduction-based algorithm that goes beyond the bivariate case. The termination of the algorithm is guaranteed by a known existence criterion of telescopers. Our approach has the important feature that it avoids the potentially costly computation of certificates. Computational experiments are also provided so as to illustrate the efficiency of our approach. This is joint work with Shaoshi Chen, Qing-Hu Hou, George Labahn and Rong-Hua Wang.
个人简介:
黄辉,大连理工大学数学科学学院副教授。2017年博士毕业于奥地利林茨大学和中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院(联合培养),并先后在奥地利林茨大学以及加拿大滑铁卢大学从事博士后研究。主要研究兴趣包括计算机代数、符号求和与符号积分、微分与差分代数,符号渐近分析等,以及这些在组合数学和其他领域中的交叉应用。目前主持国家青年基金一项。
