Abstract:  As the cornerstone of quantum mechanics Schrödinger equations describes the wave function or state function of a quantum-mechanical system. Nonlinear Schrödinger equations occurs as a model of wave propagation in fiber optics. It describes the propagation of the wave through a nonlinear medium. Schrödinger equations attract attention of both mathematicians physicists for many years. In this talk I will present some results on Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials. The topics include:

1. Strichartz estimate for Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials its application to the study of Cauchy problem for corresponding nonlinear Schrödinger equations.

2. Standing wave of nonlinear Schrödinger equations with unbounded potentials.
