A Hybrid Method for Multiscale Problems

Abstract: We present a new hybrid numerical method for multiscale partial differential equations, which simultaneously captures the global macroscopic information resolves the local microscopic events over regions of relatively small size. Two examples will be used to show the accuracy efficiency of the proposed methods. One example comes from solids another problem comes from partial differential equations with multiple scales.
