Abstract:  Privacy is the key issue preventing data sharing plays a pivotal role in many application domains. In this talk, we give an overview on various cryptographic methods that can be applied in privacy preserving technologies, including multi-party computation (MPC), homomorphic encryption (HE), searchable symmetric encryption (SSE).
