Parametric modeling is the current standard for CAD software, with structured and procedural characteristics like programming languages. The advantage of parametric modeling is that it is accurate and reusable, but the disadvantage is that it is not intuitive enough to use. In order to make CAD modeling easier, we have developed artificial intelligence methods for inverse process, help CAD parametric modeling. This presentation will discuss some of the work in this direction, such as reconstructing CAD models from point clouds, constructing CAD modeling sequences from sketches, and generalizing reusable function modules.

人简介:

潘浩,现就职于微软亚洲研究院,为网络图形组研究员。2015年毕业于香港大学,获计算机博士学位。研究方向为计算机图形学,三维几何建模和处理,三维视觉,结构化深度学习。代表工作有:常曲率曲面的数值稳定建模,曲率线控制的曲面建模,曲面上的平行传递和CNN,可扩展的物体形状和姿态解耦学习,基于草图、点云的结构化CAD建模,约束图函数归纳学习等。在ACM TOG, IEEE TVCG等计算机图形学领域顶级期刊发表论文二十余篇。
