In 1989, in order to extend the work of Bismut-Freed, which is a rigorous proof of Witten's holonomy theorem, Bismut and Cheeger studied the adiabatic limit formula for eta invariants for a fibration of closed Spin manifolds under the invertible assumption of the Dirac family along the fibers. Later, Dai extended this result to the case when the kernel of the Dirac family forms a vector bundle over the base manifold. In this talk, we will discuss our recent generalization of the adiabatic limit formula of Bismut-Cheeger-Dai. This is joint work with Zhan Mengqing.

刘博，华东师范大学教授、博士生导师，研究方向为流形上的整体分析，Atiyah-Singer指标理论与微分K理论, 在Invent. Math., Adv. Math., Trans. AMS, Math. Z. 等学术期刊上发表过学术论文多篇。
