In this talk, we study the numerical solution of a sharp-interface model for the solid-state dewetting problem. We add an L1 curvature regularization to the interfacial energy functional in order to make this problem well-posed. This new regularization could improve the computational efficiency that can be observed in real experiments. Besides this, in this work, we also propose a new numerical scheme based on convex-splitting to solve the proposed model for the strongly anisotropic case, which could remarkably relax the restriction on the time step for solving the proposed model. Moreover, we provide theoretical analysis for the scheme and demonstrate the accuracy and high efficiency by numerical results.

黄忠亿,清华大学数学科学系长聘教授、博士生导师,一直从事计算数学与科学工程计算方面的研究,在多尺度数学物理问题的建模、分析和数值模拟等方面取得了一系列创新性成果,得到了国内外同行的好评。2020年获国家杰出青年基金资助,2013年获优秀青年基金资助。
