The classical isoperimetric inequality plays an important role in mathematics and has many different interesting proofs. In this colloquium we will focus on a PDE proof, a proof using the ABP estimate and its generalization to show the relative isoperimetric inequality.
个人简介：
王国芳，1990年中国科学院数学研究所博士毕业，毕业后任教于中国科学院系统研究所，1994年至2006年分别在德国Bochum大学及德国Max-Planck 应用数学研究所从事研究工作，2006年至2009年任德国马格德堡大学教授，2009年至今任德国Freiburg大学教授。其研究方向为几何分析与偏微分方程，在调和映照、极小曲面、Liouville方程、Toda系统、k-Yamabe方程、Sasaki-Einstein度量、高阶正质量定理、几何不等式、几何自由边值问题等方面做出了一系列重要成果，在包括Duke, CPAM, JDG, JEMS, Crelle’s Journal, Amer. J. Math., Adv. Math., Comm. Math. Phys., Math. Ann.等一流数学杂志发表论文80余篇。据MathScinet上统计，论文引用已超过2000次。
