On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned mathematician Zhang Mingyong, the "Zhang Mingyong Lecture" Series was officially launched on the morning of May 24 by the School of Mathematical Sciences at Xiamen University and the Tianyuan Mathematical Center in Southeast China, in memory of his academic contributions and dedication to education, and to carry forward his rigorous scholarship and pioneering spirit.

Academician Zhang Weiping from Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Nankai University was invited to deliver the inaugural "Zhang Mingyong Lecture," titled Deformations of Dirac Operators.
