Abstract:

This paper mainly introduces the maximality and finiteness of the subdiagonal operator algebras of type 1 in von Neumann algebras. The concept of subdiagonal operator algebra of type 1 is given and the criterion for this type of sub-algebra is the maximal sub-algebra in von Neumann algebras. At the same time, the finiteness problem of subdiagonal operator algebra proposed by Arveson in 1967 is discussed, and the problem is answered in the subdiagonal operator algebra of type 1.
