Abstract:

Homology-based elliptic curve cryptography is a new type of cryptography that has emerged in recent years and is resistant to future quantum computer attacks. This report describes the basic knowledge of elliptic curve homology and its application in cryptographic hash function construction, public key encryption algorithms, and key encapsulation protocols. At the end of the report, we briefly mention some of our work on elliptic curve homology.
