Abstract:

In this lecture series, we will introduce some basic objects and concepts in mixed geometry. Including point counting over finite fields, Frobenius action on etale cohomology, the theory of mixed sheaves of Beilinson-Bernstein-Deligne-Gabber, and the recent theory of graded sheaves defined in a joint work with Quoc P. Ho. We will also talk about some applications in representation theory including Hecke algebra and its categorification.
