Abstract:
The complexity of transcriptional regulation is the basis of biological diversity. Transcription factors serve as key regulators of transcriptional control, often determining gene activation status, controlling cell fate, influencing cellular responses, development, diseases, and so forth. Computational analysis of transcription factor binding sites, including regulatory motif prediction, is a classic problem in bioinformatics. This report presents two works from the presenter's team on transcription motif prediction, targeting ChIP-exo and ATAC-seq data, respectively. Original mathematical models were designed to achieve efficient prediction of transcription motifs.
