Abstract:

This talk is concerned about the metric theory of intrinsic Diophantine approximation on the triadic Cantor set, i.e. approximating the points in the triadic Cantor set by rationals inside the Cantor set. We give a full measure criterion, but the zero measure case is still unknown.
