Abstract:

In this talk, I will present a joint work with Chen Jiang and Tianqi Zhang on the upper bound for anti-canonical volumes of canonical weak Fano 3-folds. We prove that 72 is the optimal upper bound for anti-canonical volumes of all canonical weak Fano 3-folds and confirm Prokhorov’s conjecture. As a corollary, we give the optimal upper bounds for anti-plurigenera of canonical weak Fano 3-folds.
