国家天元数学东南中心拟于2026年11月17日至11月23日开设短课程“Structure and actions of algebraic groups in positive characteristics”，相关安排如下：
一、短课程介绍
1. 主讲人：
Michel Brion，法国数学家，代数几何领域的杰出学者，专注于代数群及其作用的研究。他于1977年进入巴黎高等师范学院，1982年在Jacques Dixmier 指导下获得博士学位，论文题为《不变量理论》。此后，他长期担任法国国家科研中心（CNRS）的研究主任，任职于傅里叶研究所。Brion的研究涵盖不变量理论、球簇、格点多边形及代数群结构等。他发表了超过130篇研究论文，并指导了15名博士生。1994年，他受邀在国际数学家大会上作报告；1999年荣获CNRS银奖，2010年获得法国科学院颁发的Alexandre Joannidès奖。曾担任Acta Mathematica，Algebras and Representation Theory 等期刊的编委。
2. 课程简介：
Title：Structure and actions of algebraic groups in positive characteristics
Abstract: The algebraic groups considered in these lectures are the group schemes of finite type over a field. In characteristic zero, these groups are smooth by Cartier's theorem. This fails in characteristic p > 0, which features new ingredients such as the relative Frobenius morphism and restricted Lie algebras. The lectures will first present general facts on the structure and actions of algebraic groups, and then discuss special properties of positive characteristics, where many open questions arise.
先修要求与参考资料：
The prerequisites are familiarity with algebraic geometry over an algebraically closed field, as exposed in Hartshorne's textbook. For schemes over a field, a thorough reference is Görtz and Wedhorn, "Algebraic Geometry", Volumes I and II.
Milne's book "Algebraic groups: the theory of group schemes of finite type over a field" gives an accessible overview of their structure. For details and additional results, the classic references are
SGA3 "Schemas en groupes", Volume I, and Demazure and Gabriel, "Groupes algebriques".
The final lectures will be based on recent papers and preprints of mine:
· "On models of algebraic group actions" (2022),
· "Actions of finite group schemes on curves" (2024),
· "Equivariant normality" (2026).
