It is a classical result that the semistable vector bundles on a curve form a compact moduli space. In a joint work with Andres Fernandez Herrero and Dario Weissmann, we show that this is the only open condition on families of sheaves that yields a compact moduli space. This is based on the preprint arXiv: 2504.11155.

张旭成，北京航空航天大学副教授，导师是德国杜伊斯堡埃森大学Jochen Heinloth教授。张旭成的研究领域是抽象模空间理论，其研究成果发表在Math. Ann.、Algebraic Geometry等知名期刊。
