Abstract:

Milman (J. Eur. Math. Soc., 2025) studied problems in convex geometry via centro-affine differential geometry. In this approach, several affine connections different from the Levi-Civita connection were introduced. In the context of comparison theorems for weighted manifolds, Wylie-Yeroshkin considered an affine connection whose Ricci curvature coincides with the 1-weighted Ricci curvature. In this talk, we observe that one of the affine connections introduced by Milman coincides with a Wylie-Yeroshkin type connection, and discuss rigidity phenomena in related comparison theorems. This talk is based on the following preprint: arXiv:2606.16654.
