Abstract:
How to reconstruct phylogenetic tree is an important topic in evolutionary biology. In the big data era, some datum are in the structure of binary relation with respect to path system. In this talk, we study the path systems of edge-labeled phylogenetic trees. We give a review of characterization of exactly-k-relation, at least k-relation and at most k-relation, and their connection to k-leaf power problem.
